We recently reimagined a Camellia photograph as a layered abstract by creating a simulated multiple exposure in Photoshop. The layering effect highlights the soft textures and overlapping forms of the petals, providing a subtle interpretation of this familiar flower while introducing a sense of motion. We then enhanced the image with painterly treatments in Topaz Studio and tonal adjustments in On1 Photo Raw to bring out its soft textures and gentle flow.
It’s a piece that can fit into spaces where an organic, calming focal point is desired, especially in environments that embrace elements of biophilic design.
